أَجْيَدُ Having a long neck: or having a long and beautiful neck: or having a slender and long neck: or it is not applied to a man: fem. جَيْدَآءُ, with which جَيْدَانَةٌ is syn.; or this signifies having a beautiful neck: pl. جُودٌ [originally جُيْدٌ]. And عُنُقٌ أَجْيَدُ A long and beautiful, or slender and long, neck.
