Full Definition

أَخْدَرَتْIV She kept herself behind, or within, the curtain; as also تخدّرت , and , and فِى خِدْرِهَا.
2 [Hence,] تخدّر [in the CK خدّر ] and He concealed, or hid, himself; as also , like فَرِحَ [in measure]: whence the saying, القَارَةُ بِالسَّرَابِ, i. e. [The small isolated mountain, or the like,] became concealed by the mirage. [Hence also,] اخدر He kept himself in his lurking-place; as also and خَدَرَ , or خَدَرَ فِى عَرِينِهِ. And It remained in its nest. And He remained, stayed, or abode; بِمَكَانٍ in a place; as also خَدَرَ , Verbal.Noun خَدْرٌ; and فِى أَهْلِهِ among his family. And خَدَرَ , Verbal.Noun خَدْرٌ He remained behind the herd; not going with it: and he remained behind; not overtaking, or coming up with, the others. And اخدروا They entered upon night [and so became concealed from view]. And They entered upon a day of rain, and of clouds or mist, and of wind: or rain came upon them.
