أزّرهُII , Verbal.Noun تَأْزِيرٌ, He put on him, or clad him with, an إِزَار; as also أَزَرَهُ .
2 It covered it: as in the phrase, أزّر النَّبْتُ الأَرْضَ The herbage covered the ground, or land.
3 He repaired the lower part of it, and thus made that part like an إِزَار: he cased [the lower part of] it, and thus strengthened it.
4 He strengthened him, or it; as also أَزَرَهُ , Verbal.Noun أَزْرٌ [See also 3.]
