أَسْوَقُ A man long in the shanks: (S, K: [see also سُوَّاقٌ:]) or thick in the shanks: or it signifies, or signifies also, beautiful in the shank or shanks, applied to a man: and so سَوْقَآءُ applied to a woman: Lth explains the latter as meaning a woman having plump shanks, with hair.
