Full Definition

أنّثهُII , Verbal.Noun تَأْنِيثٌ, He made it feminine; he attached to it, or to that which was syntactically dependent upon it, the sign of the feminine gender.
2 He, or it, rendered him effeminate. [See the pass. part. n., below.]

def.2 أنّث لَهُ, Verbal.Noun as above, He acted gently, [or effeminately] towards him; as also له. And أنّث فِى أَمْرِهِ, Verbal.Noun as above, He acted gently in his affair: or he applied himself gently to his affair: and some say, فى امره, meaning he acted effeminately in his affair.
