أُهْلُوبٌ He [a horse] has ardour, or impetuosity, in his running &c.: formed by transposition from, or a dial. form of, أُلْهُوبٌ. عَدْوُهُ ذُو أَهَالِيبَ [His running is of ardent, or impetuous, modes, or manners].
2 أَهْلُوبٌ A kind, or way [or speech]: syn. فَنٌّ and أَسْلُوبٌ: pl. أَهَالِيبُ.
3 اهلوبٌ من الثَّنَاءِ A kind, or way, of praising, or eulogizing.
