2 [Hence,] احتجن المَالَ He drew the property, or camels &c., together to himself, and took, or took possession of, it, or them. And احتجنهُ He took possession of it , exclusively of others. And احتجنهُ لِنَفْسِهِ دُونَ أَصْحَابِهِ He appropriated it to himself, exclusively of his companions. And احتجن مَالَ غَيْرِهِ He took away, and stole, the property of another.
3 Also He put the property, or camels &c., into a good, or right, state, and drew together what had become scattered thereof.
4 And احتجن عَلَيْهِ He straitened him.
