إِرْزَبَّةٌ

Full Definition

إِرْزَبَّةٌ and , both with teshdeed; or the former only, of these two, and , without teshdeed; ↓ the second mentioned by Ks, but it is vulgar, and said by ISk to be wrong; A thing with which clods of clay are broken: or a small rod, or batoon, of iron: and the last, مِرْزَبَةٌ , without teshdeed, a large blacksmith's hammer: or a mallet with which wooden pins or pegs or stakes are knocked into the ground or into a wall; syn. مِيتَدَةٌ: the pl. of the first is أَرَازِبُ; and of ↓ the last, مَرَازِبُ, as also of مَرْزُبَانٌ [q. v.].
