Full Definition

إِهَالَةٌ Grease: or melted grease: or fat: or melted fat: or olive-oil: and anything that is used as a seasoning or condiment: such as fresh butter, and fat, and oil of sesame: or melted fat of a sheep's tail and the like. Hence, سَرْعَانَ ذَا إِهَالَةٌ, a prov., mentioned in art. سرع; or, as some say, وَشْكَانَ.
