ثَامِرٌ , that has attained the time of bearing fruit: or the former, unripe fruit; and the latter ripe fruit: or the former, that has attained the time for plucking; and the latter, that has put forth its fruit: or the latter of these epithets is applied to a tree, signifying bearing ripe fruit; and to fruit, signifying ripe.
