اجهزIV , Verbal.Noun إِجْهُازٌ; and عَلَيْهَ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun جَهْزٌ; He despatched, or he hastened and completed the slaughter of, the wounded man; he made his slaughter sure, or certain: and جهّز , with teshdeed, signifies the same, but denoting muchness, or frequency, or repetition, of the action, or its application to many objects, and intensiveness: or على الجريح signifies he slew the wounded man. You should not say, أَجَزْتُ على الجريح, or أَجَازَ عليه.
