اخضلّIX , Verbal.Noun اِخْضِلَالٌ, It was, or became, moistened, or wetted; as also , Verbal.Noun إِخْضَالٌ; (TA; [perhaps a mistranscription for اخضالّ , Verbal.Noun اِخْضِيلَالٌ; but said by Freytag to occur in the Deewán of the Hudhalees;]) and , Verbal.Noun اِخْضِيضَالٌ; and خَضِلَ : it is said of a garment, and of the beard: and the first of these verbs signifies also it was, or became, moist, so that its moisture became sprinkled, or scattered in drops; (K, * TA; [accord. to the explanation of the part. n. خَضِلٌ in the JK and M;]) and so اخضالّ , Verbal.Noun اِخْضِيلَالٌ; and خَضِلَ , Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun خَضَلٌ; but Lth says, I have not heard them say خَضِلَ.
