Full Definition

ارأمIV He made the she-camel to affect, or incline to, her رَأْم [q. v.], or the رَأْم, or one that was not her young one: or ارأمها عَلَى وَلَدِهَا he made her to affect, or incline to, her young one.
2 [Hence,] ارأمهُ عَلَى الأَمْرِ, or على الشَّىْءِ, He compelled him against his will to do the thing: and so ازأمهُ عَلَيْهِ. And ارأمهُ إِلَىكَذَا He, or it, caused him to want such a thing. (AA, TA in art. ذمغ.)
3 ارأم الجُرْحَ, (Verbal.Noun إِرآمٌ, T,) He dressed, or treated curatively, the wound, in order that it might heal, or close, or so that it closed.
