Full Definition
اربثّواIX
They became separated, disunited, dispersed, or scattered. And اربثّت الغَنَمُ
The sheep, or goats, became dispersed, or scattered. And اربثّوا فِى مَنَازِلِهِمْ, and رَأْيِهِمْ, They became separated, or disunited, in their places of alighting or abode, and their judgment or opinion.
2 [Hence,] اربثّ أَمْرُهُمْ, or or اِرْبَأَثَّ , which last has been heard thus pronounced with ء to avoid the conjunction of two quiescent letters, Their affair was, or became, weak, and slow, tardy, or dilatory, so that they became separated, disunited, dispersed, or scattered: or the first (اربثّ امرهم) signifies, or signifies also, their affair, or state of affairs, was, or became, discomposed, dissipated, disorganized, disordered, or broken up; as also
