ارتمىVIII It was, or became, thrown, cast, or flung. It fell to the ground: so in the saying, ارتمى الحِمْلُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ البَعِيرِ [The load fell to the ground, or it may mean was thrown down, from the back of the camel].
