ازندIV , said of a man, i. q. زَادَ [He exceeded, &c.].
2 [Hence, app.,] مَا يُزْنِدُكَ أَحَدٌ عَلَيْهِ, as also ما , i. q. مَا يَزِيدُكَ [meaning No one is more sufficient for thee than he: see art. زيد]: or no one exceeds him to thee in excellence.
