استثأرX He sought, or asked, aid, in order that the blood of his slain [relation] might be revenged, or avenged, by retaliation of his slaughter (لُيِثْأَرَ بِمَقْتُولِهِ), or in order that he might take, or seek, revenge, or vengeance, for his slain [relation].
