استرضاهُX He asked, begged, or petitioned, of him that he would please, content, or satisfy, him, or that he would give him that with which he would be pleased, well pleased, content, contented, or satisfied. You say, اِسْتَرْضَيْتُهُ فَأَرْضَانِى [I asked, begged, or petitioned, of him that he would please me, &c., and he pleased me, &c.].
