Full Definition

اصادهُIV He made him, incited him, or induced him, to take &c., or to seek to take &c., wild animals, or the like, [fowl,] or fish.

def.2 Also He, or it, [app. meaning the vein called صَاد, or the disease termed صَيَد,] annoyed, or hurt, him; namely, a camel.
2 And He cured him of the disease termed صَيَد, by burning with a hot iron. Thus it has two contr. significations.
3 And أَصْيَدَ بَعِيرَهُ He caused his camel to have the disease termed صَيَد.
