افلتIV , Verbal.Noun إِفْلَاتٌ; and ; and تفلّت ; and فَلَتَ , Present.T ـِ Verbal.Noun فَلْتٌ; signify the same; i. e. He, or it, escaped; got away; or became, or got, loose, clear, quit, free, or at liberty; [or did so] suddenly: or إِفْلَاتٌ and and signify a thing's going forth suddenly: or signifies he, or it, went forth quickly: and one says أَفْلَتَنِى, for افلت مِنِّى [he escaped, &c., from me]; (Sgh, TA in art. جرع;) and تفلّت منّى, and ; all signifying the same.
