اقترتIV
She fumigated herself with aloes-wood.
2 اقتر النَّارَ He made the fire to smoke.
def.2 اقتر على عِيَالِهِ: and اقتر اللّٰه رِزْقَهُ: see 1.
2 Also اقتر He was, or became, poor, needy, or indigent: or his property became small, though some of it yet remained to him. A poet says,
