الدَّهْمَانُ The night: opposed to الوَضَّاحُ meaning “ the day. ” (L in art. وضح.) [Hence,] ثِنْىُ دَهْمَانَ The prayer of nightfall: opposed to بِكْرُ الوَضَّاحِ meaning “the prayer of morning.” (L and K in that art.: but in the CK and in a MS. copy of the K, instead of دَهْمَانَ we find دُهْمانَ.)
