Full Definition

السَّافِينُ A certain vein in the inner side of the spine, extending lengthwise, with which is united the نِيَاط [q. v.] of the heart. [Golius and Freytag explain it as meaning the “ Saphæna: ” but this is called الصَّافِنُ.]
