الضِّمُّ and Severe calamity or misfortune; accord. to Lth: but app. mistranscriptions, and correctly with ص [i. e. الصِّمُّ and, by implication, الصِّمَامُ, but the latter is app. only صَمَامِ, without the art., like قَطَامِ]; so says Az.
