الغَاذِيَةُ A certain vein; so called because of its flowing with blood.
2 And The part that is in a state of commotion, [or that pulses,] of the top of the head of a [young] child. as long as it continues soft; for when it becomes hard, and becomes bone, it is termed يَأْفُوخ: pl. الغَوَاذِى: mentioned by AZ: also called الغَاذَّةُ. (IAar, K in art. غذ.)
