Full Definition

القَيِّمُ The right, correct, or true, reckoning. (T in art. دين.)
2 قَيِّمُ الأَمْرِ i. q. and سَائِسُهُ: fem. قَيِّمَةٌ.
3 قَيِّمٌ بِالأَمْرِ A manager of an affair; i. q. إِزَاؤُهُ. (S, Msb, art. ازى.) See قَامَ بِالأَمْرِ.
4 قَيِّمٌ A manager, conductor, orderer, regulator, or superintendent, of an affair: a manager, conductor, &c., of the affairs of a people. قَيِّمٌ عَلَى المَالِ A good [manager and] tender of camels, &c. (TA in art. بلو.)
