Full Definition

انشأIV He raised the clouds.
2 انشأ عَلَمًا He set up a beacon, or sign of the way, in a desert or highway: and so عَلَمًا He set up a beacon, or sign of the way.
3 انشأهُ, Verbal.Noun إِنْشَآءٌ, He caused him to attain the age of manhood, or nearly that age. See 2.
4 انشأ and [so TA: app. نشّأ:] He created; produced; originated. انشأ اللّٰهُ الخَلْقَ God originated the creation.
5 أَنْشَأْتُهُ I originated it; brought it into being or existence; made it, or produced it, for the first time, it not having been before.
6 انشأ He founded or began to build, a house [&c.].
7 He framed or constructed, a proverb, or phrase.
8 He composed language [such as an ode or the like].
9 He recited poetry, or a خُطْبَة, well.
10 He forged a tradition, and attributed it [to the Prophet].
11 انشأ, followed by an Present.T, He began to relate, or say, or do.
