انصبهIV
He fatigued, tired, or wearied, him: it fatigued him, &c.: it fatigued, tired, or wearied, him; as also
نَصِبَ ; and perhaps
is also used in this sense, with reference to grief, or anxiety. See 1.
def.2 انصب الحَدِيثَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ He ascribed, or attributed, the tradition to the Apostle of God; syn. أَسْنَدَهُ إِلَيْهِ and رَفَعَهُ.
def.3 انصبه He assigned him, or gave him, a نَصِيب; i. e., a lot, or portion.
def.4 انصب السِّكِّينَ He made, or put, a handle (نِصَاب) to the knife.
