Full Definition

انقاصVII , said of sand, and of dust, or earth, It poured forth, or down: or it fell, fell down, or collapsed; and so when said of a building; and so انقاصت said of a well (بِئْر); it fell; fell down; fell in ruins, or to pieces; or collapsed; as also انقاضت, with ض; and تقيّصت : which ↓ last also signifies it inclined, and became demolished, or fell in ruins; and in like manner [تقيّص said of] a wall.
2 انقاصت السِّنُّ The tooth became broken: or became cracked, or split, lengthwise: or fell out: and , Verbal.Noun قَيْصٌ, it fell out from its root; and so with ض: and انقاص الضِّرْسُ, and قَاصَ , and , the tooth became cracked lengthwise, and fell out.
3 انقاص المَآءُ فِى البِئْرِ The water became abundant in the well so that it nearly demolished it.
