آمرهُIII , Verbal.Noun مُؤَامَرَةٌ, He consulted him respecting his affair, or case; as also وَامَرَهُ; or this is not a chaste form; or it is vulgar; and , Verbal.Noun اسْتِئْمَارٌ; and , Verbal.Noun ائتِمَارٌ. It is said in a trad., آمِرُوا النِّسَآءَ فِى أَنْفُسِهِنَّ Consult ye women respecting themselves, as to marrying them. And in another trad., آمَرَتْ نَفْسَهَا, meaning She consulted herself, or her mind; as also نفسها. [See another ex. voce نَفْسٌ. And see also 8.]
