بَالُوعَةٌ , of the dial. of El-Basrah, and بَلُّوعَةٌ , and بَلَّاعَةٌ , and بُلَّيْعَةٌ , A hole, or perforation, in the midst of a house; a sink-hole; a hole, or perforation, into which water descends: or a well that is dug in the midst of a house, narrow at the head, into which run the rain-water and the like: pl. [of the first] بَوَالِيعُ and [of the others] بَلَالِيعُ.
