بَتَرَI , aor ـُ Verbal.Noun بَتْرٌ; and ; He cut, or cut off, a thing before it was complete: or he cut, or cut off, in any manner: or he cut off entirely, or utterly.
2 بَتَرَهُ, Present.T and Verbal.Noun as above; or ; He cut off his tail: or he cut, or amputated, his tail in any place.
3 بَتَرَ رَحِمَهُ, Present.T as above, and so the Verbal.Noun, He cut, or severed, the ties, or bonds, of his relationship; he disunited himself from his relations.
