2 A secret: whence the prov., بَدَا بَحِيثُهُمْ [Their secret became apparent, or revealed]. (TA. [But in the S, in art. نجث, q. v., we find بَدَا نَجِيثُ القَوْمِ; and so in Freytag's Arab. Prov. i. 159.])
