بَدُنَI , Present.T ـُ; and بَدَنَ, Present.T ـُ; Verbal.Noun بَدَانَةٌ of the former, and بُدْنٌ, also of the former, or of the latter, and بَدْنٌ, accord. to AZ, and بَدَانٌ, or بُدُونٌ is the Verbal.Noun of the latter verb; said of a man, and of a camel; and بَدُنَتْ and بَدَنَتْ, said of a woman, and of a بَدَنَة, q. v.; He, and she, was, or became, big, bulky, big-bodied, or corpulent; abounding in flesh; fat: or the former verb has this last signification, that of fatness; and the latter verb is syn. with بَدَّنَ q. v. [See also بُدْنٌ, below.]
