بَذِخَI , Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun بَذَخٌ; and بَذَخَ, [Present.T ـَ and ـُ ] Verbal.Noun بُذُوخٌ; It was high, or lofty.
2 And hence, بَذِخَ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun بَذخٌ; and بَذَخَ, Present.T ـَ and ـُ but the former is the more approved, Verbal.Noun بَذْخٌ and بُذُوخٌ; He was, or became, proud, and lofty, or haughty; as also تبذّخ : he exalted himself above others, as also تبذّخ , by his speech, and his glorying, or boasting.
3 And بَذَخَ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun بَذَخَانٌ, He brayed in the most vehement manner, and put forth his شِقشِقَة [or faucial bag].
