بَسَأَI , and بَسِئَ; Present.T ـَ; Verbal.Noun بَسْءٌ and بُسُوْءٌ and بَسَآءٌ, all of the former verb; and بَسَأْ, of the latter; He was, or became, sociable, friendly, or familiar, with him; or cheered, or gladdened, by his company or converse, or by his presence.
2 بَسَأَ بِالأَمْرِ, Verbal.Noun بَسْءٌ and بُسُوْءٌ, He was, or became, accustomed, or habituated, to the affair, or case.
3 [And hence,] بَسَأَ بِهِ He despised, or made light of, him, or it.
