بَكَأَتْI , Present.T ـَ; and بَكُؤَتْ, Present.T ـُ; Verbal.Noun بَكْءٌ and بُكْءٌ and بَكَأَةٌ, or بَكْأَةٌ, or بَكَآءَةٌ, and بُكُوْءٌ, which is Verbal.Noun of بَكُؤَ, as is also that next preceding it, and بُكَآءٌ, in some copies of the K بُكْءٌ, She had little milk; her milk became little: or, as some say, her milk ceased, or stopped.
2 And [hence,] بَكَأَتْ عَيْنِى My eye had few tears.
3 And بَكُؤَ, Verbal.Noun بَكَآءَةٌ, [app. He became poor; had little wealth; being] said of a man. [See also 4.]
4 And بَكِئ He failed of attaining the object of his want.
