Full Definition

بَاحَI , Present.T يَبُوحُ, Verbal.Noun بَوْحٌ, It became apparent, or manifest. You say, بَاحَ مَا كَتَبْتُ [What I concealed became apparent]. And أَعُوذُ بِٱللّٰهِ مشنْ بَوْحِ السِّرِّ وَكَشْفِ السِّتْرِ [I seek protection by God from the appearing of the secret, and the removing of the veil, or covering].

def.2 بَاحَ بِهِ, [Present.T as above,] Verbal.Noun بَوْحٌ and بُؤُوحٌ and بُؤُوحَةٌ, He revealed, or disclosed, it; namely, a secret, or a thing; as also . It is said to be from [the Verbal.Noun of the latter] signifying The showing a thing to the beholder in order that he who will may take it. You say, سِرًّا فَبَاحَ بِهِ He revealed to him a secret, and he [revealed it, i. e.,] did not conceal it. And بُحْ بِٱسْمِكَ وَ لَا تَكْنِ عَنْهُ [Reveal thou thy name, and make not a mere allusion to it].
