تَخَاطَرَتِVI [The stallions of the camels lashed with their tails] previously to their attacking one another.

def.2 تخاطروا They laid bets, wagers, or stakes, one with another, عَلَى أَمْرٍ for a thing. And تخاطرا عَلَيْهِ They two laid bets, wagers, or stakes, for it.
