تَدَرَّاَV see 1.
2 تدرّأ عَلَيْنَا He domineered over us. And تدرّؤوا عَلَيْهِمْ They domineered over them, and aided one another against them.
3 تدرّؤوا, and دَرِيْئَةً, They concealed themselves from a thing in order to beguile it, or circumvent it: or they made use of a ذَرِيعَة [or دَرِيْئَة] for hunting and spearing or thrusting [or shooting objects of the chase]: and لِلصَّيْدِ, or الصَّيْدِ, I prepared for myself a دَرِيئَة for the chase: and الدَّرِيْئَةَ لِلصَّيْدِ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun دَرْءٌ, He drove the دريئة to the chase, and concealed himself by it.
