2 [Hence, ] تسابّوا, Verbal.Noun as above; and ; They reviled, vilified, upbraided, reproached, defamed, or gave bad names to, one another. And بَيْنَهُمْ أُسْبُوبَةٌ يَتَسَابُّونَ بِهَا Between them is a thing [meaning reviling or vilifying speech] with which they revile, or vilify, &c., one another.
