تسايراVI
They two [went, or went along, or] went at an equal rate, or kept pace, each with the other: or ran, each with the other.
2 One says of a great, or frequent, liar, لَا تَسَايَرَهُ خَيْلَاهُ [lit. His two troops of horses will not run together, each troop with the other: meaning his assertions will not be found to agree together]: or
لَا خَيْلَاهُ. (So in the K and TA voce خَيْلٌ, q. v.; and so in the TA in the present art. [See also 6 in art. سلم.])
3 [And They two vied, contended, or competed, each with the other, in going, or in running: and hence, in any affair.]
4 One says also, تَسَايَرَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ الغَضَبُ Anger went [or disappeared by degrees] from his face.
