جَامُورٌ : see جُمَّارٌ.
2 Also A well-known appertenance of a ship or boat; [i. e., the head of the mast; a kind of truck, which is made of harder wood than the mast itself.]
3 And hence, The head [absolutely]: but accord. to Kr, only the vulgar call it so.
