جدّلهُII , Verbal.Noun تَجْدِيلٌ, He threw him down upon the جَدَالَة, i. e., upon the ground; as also جَدَلَهُ , Verbal.Noun جَدْلٌ: or the former signifies he did so much, or often. You say, طَعَنَهُ فَجَدَّلَهُ [He thrust him, or pierced him, with a spear or the like, and threw him down &c.]. [See also 3.]
