جَسَأَI , aor ـَ Verbal.Noun جُسُوْءٌ and جُسْأَةٌ, thus in the corrected copies of the K, but in some copies the latter Verbal.Noun is written جُسَآءَةٌ, It was, or became, hard, tough, rigid, or stiff; as also جَسَا, aor ـُ (Msb and K in art. جسو.)
2 جَسَأَتْ يَدُهُ, aor ـَ Verbal.Noun جَسْءٌ, His hand became hard, tough, callous, coarse, or rough, from work.
3 جَسَأَتْ مَفَاصِلُهُ His joints became rigid, or stiff.
