حَتْحَتَةٌ Quickness, and haste, in anything. [App. an Verbal.Noun, of which the verb is حَتْحَتَ .] Hence the prov., شَرُّ السَّيْرِ الحَتْحَتَهُ [The worst pace is that which is quick and hasty: but in Freytag's “ Ar. Prov. ” الحَقْحَقَة].
