حَطِبٌ , applied to a man, [and app. to cattle, (see خَشَبٌ,)] Very lean or meagre; as also أَحْطَبُ : or the latter means unlucky, or unfortunate; syn. مَشْؤُومٌ; in some copies of the K مَوْسُومٌ; and its fem. is حَطْبَآءُ.
