2 إِنَّهُ لَحَمُوزٌ لِمَا means Verily he is one who keeps, or guards, or takes care of, prudently, or effectually, what he has collected together. [To the explanation in the K (ضَابِطٌ لِمَا ضَمَّهُ) is added in the TA, ومحتمل له, app. a mistranscription for وَمُحْتَفِلٌ بِهِ and one who manages it well.]
