حُنْكَةٌ and حُنْكٌ , or حِنْكٌ , and حُنُكٌ , Firmness, or soundness, of judgment, produced by experience: or age and experience, and knowledge, or skill, in affairs: or experience, and good judgment: or mature, sound, or right, judgment. They say, هُمْ أَهْلُ and and الحُنْكَةِ They are people of age and experience [&c.].
