خَادِرٌ

Full Definition

خَادِرٌ and مُخْدِرٌ [originally Keeping behind, or within, the خِدْر, or curtain.
2 And hence,] A lion keeping, or abiding, in his lurking-place: or entering into it. And the former, and خَدُورٌ , A gazelle remaining behind the herd; not going with it: and a beast that remains behind; not overtaking, or coming up with, the others: and خَدُورٌ likewise signifies a camel that is in the rear of the other camels; that remains behind them, and when it sees them go on, goes on with them.

def.2 خَادِرٌ signifies also Languid, and lazy, or slothful.
